What's in a kit?
5 stickered lighters with unique scannable codes — 5 stories waiting to start. Lighters not included; the code stickers are designed to fit most standard lighters.
How does it work?
Someone finds a lighter, scans the code, and sees everywhere it's been — a map and timeline of friendly check-ins. They add theirs and pass it on.
Is this tracking?
No. There's no GPS, no chip — the lighter can't report its own location. The map only fills when a person chooses to scan and say where they found it. It's a shared story, not surveillance.
Can I set a lighter free myself?
That's the whole point. Get a kit, stick five lighters, and leave them somewhere people gather. Watch where they surface.
Who can see the notes?
Anyone who scans the code, right on the lighter's page. Notes are anonymous by default and never edited.
What does it cost?
$18 for a 5-lighter kit. The page you're on is free for everyone.
